“In December 2010 we received the call we had been waiting for, for over two-and-a-half years… the voice over the phone, a nurse whom I had become very close with, said Santa is coming early for you two this year. “You’re pregnant!!””
Mom Kellie and her husband had been struggling with infertility for two years, having been diagnosed with endometriosis in college. Kellie had one failed IVF cycle, a painful hyper-stimulation reaction, as well as several difficult endoscopic surgeries, before her successful transfer of two embryos. Both embryos took and at the first ultrasound, on the screen were two little sacs – TWINS. Park and his sister Taylor were born at 32 weeks on June 30, 2011. They are now healthy, happy almost four year olds. Kellie wants other patients and potential patients to know that they are in the right place and in the right hands.
