“The process was easy thanks to the wonderful doctors and staff at the Fertility Institute of Hawaii.”
Mom Jamie knew she always wanted to have a family, one boy and one girl. Having conceived their first child in 2017, Robbie, with the help of Dr. Karmon and IVF with ICSI, the couple was back to do round two. Jamie was diagnosed with Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), so IVF was the best course of treatment, after several failed IUI cycles.
Their FET, or frozen embryo transfer for their second child, was successful on the first try. Little Mia Kioko was born on May 20, 2019, weighing in at a healthy 8lbs. Being born two weeks early seems to run in the family, with both children making their grand entrances early. With a beautiful girl and a handsome boy, this lucky family is now complete.
