“We had such a great experience the first time with Jae and the team at FIH. Choosing to work
with FIH again was a no brainer.”
Nalani and her husband committed to IVF at the Fertility Institute of Hawaii in 2017, six years after trying on their own to start a family and determining this was the best option to pursue . The couple retrieved eighteen eggs and were able to freeze and store eight of them as embryos. After an unsuccessful first transfer, the couple did a second IVF transfer and were successful. They welcomed a set of wonderful twins to the family in 2018.
Two years later and with four embryos remaining, the couple decided to try and grow their family again. After a teleconference with Dr. Frattarelli and a discussion about embryo quality, testing, and success rates, they jumped on board for what would be their third round of IVF. To their surprise, both embryos they transferred took and the couple was again expecting another set of twins. On March 5, 2021 Huali (girl) and Ho’okele (boy) were born as happy and healthy as ever.
“With four kids two and under, we have our hands and hearts full. As we look back four years ago when we started this journey, we would never have imagined standing here today with our beautiful success story. We are beyond grateful to FIH and their team of experts in helping us achieve this goal!”
