Ilani: Our October Baby of the Month

Mom Maria and her husband have been happily married for 15 years, but always felt like something was missing. Their dogs Kona and Nalo have sort of filled the emptiness of watching all of their close friends and family become parents, but now it is their turn to share in this amazing life experience. After years of trying to conceive a child and one miscarriage that affected the couple deeply, the Fertility Institute of Hawaii was a blessing for the both of them.

The couple cannot contain their excitement as new parents and even dogs Kona and Nalo seemed to anticipate a big change. Sweet kisses on Maria’s baby bump were a daily occurrence throughout the pregnancy. Beautiful baby Ilani arrived on September 15th, surrounded by her family who made the long journey here from Ecuador to be with her, the most special day that all of them will always remember.
